Happy Pink Saturday!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had my parents over and ate way too much as always. We started a new family tradition of playing Scrabble on Thanksgiving and now I am addicted again. Bella is really good, so I need to practice up.

I have been working on a few things for Christmas for gifts as well as listing in my etsy shop. Here is one tile I made and I love the colors pink!!
I love these! They are 5x6 and Bella and I are having a blast with them! We may have a house full of them by the time the holidays get here. I can not believe it is almost December. Wow really! I know we are ready for 2009 to be over and have a better 2010! I think I might hit my 100 post blogaversary right around Christmas. Stay tuned.

Thanks to Beverly for putting together Pink Saturday! Stop in and say hi to everyone. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

Surprise!

I am still here. Just fell off the blog wagon. I am excited to say I have some completed UFO's to show you tomorrow. Must take pictures in the am! Today, was a little cloudy and not very good!! I will be showing you a great swap I joined and the fabulous creator behind the goodies!

Since it is Thanksgiving week, I will post every day a thankfulness. Today, I am thankful for Bella being such a fab child. She was helping me muck out the studio. We did not get far - had to stop for a creative break! But, did manage to group a few things together. I know how I want the room in mind and it is no where near that in real life. Hum! I spend a lot of time second guessing where I want something and where I should put it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!

I had to switch back to supervied comments since I was getting some spam ones. Silly spammers - get a life.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Wet Wednesday

Hello all. It has been a very rainy couple of days. Idamust be leaving her mark here. When I said I was going to start adding more water to my day this is not exactly what I had in mind. The addition of water is coming along nicely and the next big step will be eating better balanced meals. Which will mean less take out.

Have a dry and safe day. Happy Veteran's Day!

Wishful Wednesday

Jennifer is hosting another week. Make sure you pop in and visit everyone. Another week has come and gone. I am happy to say the sodas have been limited to 2 in the past week and that I am drinking more water. However, the leftover Halloween candy is so tempting. I think most of it will go to the school for the treat bucket. My friend and I are looking into Zumba classes.
So for the wishful part, take the time out of your day to let some know you love them! Yesterday, I realize how much more connected Bella and I are. We are alike in many ways, but yet we are not carbon copies. We love to be creative, love animals (most of them) are only children and share so many more traits. But, I had hoped I would never have to talk about the passing of a classmate with her as my Mom did. My heart and thoughts go out to the family who lost their daughter/sister and to the whole school family who will miss her as well. Everyone is very busy and we take the small things for granted and sometimes we turn small things into big ones that really should be left as small. Make sure your children know you love them everyday!

This weekend will be a busy creative weekend!! We are making Christmas ornaments for our pink tree! What are your weekend plans? Getting creative?

Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Halloween

Thank you Beverly for putting together another week of Pink Saturday. Please make sure you visit all the fabulousness over there. It looks like today might be a bit on the weak side. Not too much fun for the little trick or treat peeps!
This year my Camelia is blooming nicely. Could be that I remembered to give her some fertilizer. I have another one that has a million buds but have not opened. I was hoping to get some gardening in today, but it may only be replanting some Rose of Sharon seedlings that grew in the bed. We also have a few little maples trees we are growing from seed that are ready for Fall.We don't have any trees on our lot since our part of the neighborhood was built on the cow's side of an old farm. So, we collected these seeds on a walk around the neighborhood, planted them and this is where we are.

Have a wonderful day and don't eat too much candy!

Happy Hump Day!

Here we are another week down and I can say another room done. This weekend I helped Bella with her room. I have to get busy with redoing her furniture or else the Christmas tree won't fit in the Living Room, so we where cleaning out. We are down to scaling back the stuffed animals. That will not be an easy task since she is so like me with feelings. How do you choose which ones to go and which ones to stay? They all have memories, but some will be making new memories with a new home.
WW wise I have started drinking more water and limiting sodas to only one a week. I have also decided with couponing it is very difficult to eat healthy. They always have coupons for less than healthy foods. So we might just be able to save with the coupons but will not be able to get all the groceries for $4 like some people can. The other side to that is, I am not going to hoard stuff like most super savers do. That would defeat my weightloss clean out! I will keep a few items, but some have rooms full of the stuff. Can they use it before it goes bad?

Happy Halloween Week. Check out Jennifer's blog for the rest of the WW peeps!

Happy Pink Saturday!

These are my favorite pansies colors. I found these last year and hope to be so lucky again. So far all I found were orange and white. Good for Halloween but not my favorite pinks!! Last Saturday I forgot to sign up but my facebook friend Nancy featured me and I wanted to thank her again. So, if you haven't seen last Saturday please check it out. My Mingo is all ready for the holidays! And I would love glue suggestions for the cake plate I want to make!

Thanks Beverly for the fab job. Please remember to leave a comment so I know you stopped by and can visit you! I am getting closer to 100!! Yeah!!!
