Happy June

Sorry for the delay. Things were a bit out of whack lately. Bella finished up 6th grade. Both stray puppies found wonderful new homes. My birthday month ended. June started and was not looking very positive. My friend's little boy's cancer has returned (treatment is working) and my 91 year old Grandmother passed away.

Happier  thoughts my friend completed her first marathon this past weekend. Way to go Brigette. I made her a mini banner but of course forgot to get a picture. I will have more mini banners in my etsy shop this week. I am trying to decide if I want to complete them or have them as kits. Any ideas?

Happy Memorial Day!

Thank you to all the men and women who serve and have served to protect our country.

I had hoped we could have a nice bbq picnic outside and play some lawn games, but the weather is not cooperating. So it looks like we will have to have a plan b. Maybe hubby can still grill, we can eat on porch and play a board game inside.

Birthday month is finally coming to a close. I had a great one know 11 months to go and we can do it again. Make sure you leave a comment before June 3 to be entered in my drawing.

Finally, my actual Birthday in my month long Birthday Celebration!! Hope everyone is had a wonderful May. Mother's Day, school wrapping up, warm weather, pools and last night thunderstorms. Storms I can do with out, but the rest are pretty great. Our foster puppy, Cooper joined his new family on Friday! So happy for them. Minnie will have a wonderful new home next Saturday. They have come along way and I am very proud of them!

Whoohoo Birthday Month continues... Happy May!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. The rescued puppies are doing great. I hope to have a home for them both mid June. It is sad to think people would just lets pups out to starve.

Wonderful Wednesday

Welcome to the new followers and thank you to all for hanging with me. Remember there will be a give-away on my Birthday Day the 29th!

This week has flown by. Here it is already the 12th day of my birthday month. Lots to share. I started my garden. I built the box, added the soil (which I mixed), added the plants and then the pine needles. Now to watch it grow. I have a few other things to plant today and will share those tomorrow.

My garden has a row of gourds (love those and want to make bird houses out of them), next row tomatoes, peppers and then garden beans (not sure what they are, but they looked cool). I have cucumbers to put somewhere else and watermelons. A few herbs that are not looking very good also need to find a good planting spot.

We have a new tree in our front yard. Thanks to hubs for digging in the wonderful clay soil here. I think I got the better end of the deal by building a raised bed. Off to planting I go. All the photos were taken by fuzzy snails. She is becoming quite the little photographer. Happy planting and creating day!
